Some encouraging news.
Really glad they did this research - especially because YouGov is a credible, well-regarded, and fairly accurate pollster. They're one of the most prominent polling organizations in the UK. So it's not like just anyone is giving these numbers - you can have a fair amount of confidence in them.
Given British media and assholes online, I definitely would not have called that cis lesbians and cis bisexuals are tied for most supportive of trans people. Very, very nice to hear.
i got the old tumblr dashboard back T_T i used the xkit rewriten options in this post and installed the firefox application called stylus and installed this script through it for the old tumblr layout <3

FYI for readers who requested it! This is what I’m currently using to unfuck my dash.
It seems as though most fixes for the new dash involve a combination of XKit Rewritten and the installation of one of a few varieties of script. The XKit fixes linked in this post helped a lot, but I was struggling with the idea of installing a script, because notoriously that kind of shit either doesn’t work for me or is significantly beyond my skill level.
Fortunately the page at the “this script” link has a button you can just click-to-install once you’ve installed Stylus, so it went pretty easily once I stopped panicking about having to run a script I didn’t understand. Anyway, it’s working for me for now, so passing it along for those who want to implement it.
I see Tumblr has begun rolling out The Ugly Dash to the lucky ones who didn’t get ambushed with it last month, so I’m reblogging what I’ve been using to get the old dash back. It’s not a perfect fix, but at least my dash is readable and usable right now.
Just as a reminder because I have zero sense of humor or patience when it comes to this, you are welcome to recommend to your readers that they speak to WIP or Support about this; please don’t offer me advice that involves communicating with anyone at Tumblr or Wordpress. I have blocked as many of them as I possibly can and have zero desire to interact with them in any way.
FWIW, I had an entire dialogue with Support about this when it was sprung on me a few weeks ago, and they told me (on a Tuesday) to talk to WIP (whose askbox is only open for a few hours every Monday). WIP ignored me wholesale. So, uh, if you choose to go that route, have fun.
